Project 03182 replenishment vessel "Valentin Rykov" 4750653 is heading out for a likely first ever mission. Commissioned this summer a guess is that she is heading for English Channel to replenish the Russian warship guarding it, I believe frigate RFS Neustrashimy at moment.

🚨🚨🚨Exclusive picture 📸 SSG 🇷🇺 Krasnodar and the 🇷🇺 support vessel Evgeniy Churov heading for Med.🌊 Since the SSG 🇷🇺 Novorossyisk submarine left the Med at the beginning of January, no other submarine had come to replace it! The 🇷🇺 Krasnodar tried to leave but quickly turned back. What happened to the Krasnodar? Do you have any information?🤔 Two days ago, escorted by 🇷🇺 Evgeniy Churov, the 🇷🇺Krasnodar located west of 🇵🇹Lisbon. With the presence of the Russian navy already weakened over the past two years, their return from 🇸🇾Syria is unlikely to encourage them to come to Med. @Drox_Maritime

7 OCT 2026 Dover Strait 🇮🇷-flagged container ship FLEXI 2 (IMO 9246322) turned around for unknown reasons while transiting the Dover Strait. Will it return to the Baltic or will it do another turn back to the west? The ship made a similar maneuver on its inbound transit, before calling at the Bronka container terminal near St. Petersburg 🇷🇺 The Dover Strait is a mandatory reporting area, and ships passing through the UK section may be required to provide proof of valid insurance when requested by UK authorities, even if they are not calling at a UK port. FLEXI 2 is the 6th 🇮🇷 cargo ship to visit 🇷🇺 Baltic ports since the start of the war. It also visited the 🇷🇺 Black Sea port of Novorossiysk. After visiting the Russian Baltic port, FLEXI will likely visit Libya, Kandla, India and/or Port Klang, Malaysia. -- See details in the @UANI Iran Shippiing Update: unitedagainstnucleariran.com… -- @JemimaShelley @mercoglianos @brentdsadler @KasraAarabi @TomSharpe134 @TomTugendhat @howardharry @tldraanan @MarcusHand1 @SONARROW_OSINT @auonsson

A sanctioned, Chinese-owned tanker has been loitering north of Algiers for 19 days. In ballast for 7 months, no cargo, no reason to be there. Since Sep 29 it's run the same drift 3 times: 60–68nm at under 1kn, across 4 Europe–Africa–Asia cables, crossing EIG ~8 times (closest 0.24nm). Windward assesses this as a possible cover case for seabed cable survey.

A Russian-linked cargo vessel tracked by Windward drifted for nearly eight days over the Atlas Offshore cable off northern Morocco: 10 loops across the route, 22 hours within 1nm, closing to 0.34nm, with a 2.5-hour near-stop directly on it. No cargo work, no STS, AIS on throughout. The vessel carries a high compliance risk tied to Russia and called at Novorossiysk in April before unloading at Alexandria. Its AIS went dark for 65 hours leaving Russia, yet it reported position every few minutes while sitting over the cable. Windward assesses eight days of unproductive drifting with no commercial rationale as consistent with deliberate loitering rather than transit.

NEW: A Russian biker with links to Moscow’s sabotage chief can be revealed as the suspected mastermind of a bomb plot in the heart of Europe. A joint Telegraph and Welt am Sonntag investigation reveals that Oleg Levushkin - a Russian family man with a passion for motorbikes - is believed to have planned a failed attempt to plant explosives at Germany’s Leipzig-Halle airport. German investigators suspect that Mr Levushkin planned the attack before ordering Andrei Karshakou, a Belarusian proxy agent named today for the first time, to carry out his plans in August. Classified intelligence documents from Germany, Lithuania and Poland, as well as interviews with senior Western intelligence officials, detail the pair’s alleged planning of the attack. The evidence points to disturbing links between the Leipzig attack and a wider network of sabotage plots across Europe, all allegedly orchestrated by a hard-line unit in the GRU.

⚡️Russia announces a new “special military operation” through its controlled propagandists The state-run RIA Novosti news agency published an article titled “Russia faces another special military operation. It will be very short.” The author is Alexander Nosovich, editor-in-chief of RuBaltic. The article names Lithuania as the new target of Russian aggression. The publication appeared after the Lithuanian parliament’s decision to lift the ban on deploying nuclear weapons. Nosovich compared Lithuania to Ukraine and wrote that in the event of a conflict, Russia could do without ground troops and use missiles with nuclear warheads. The material was published after reports from Danish and Czech intelligence agencies about a possible limited Russian attack on a NATO country. Earlier, Western media reported that Russia could launch a limited attack on the Baltic states to test the alliance’s response. And if the response were not decisive enough, Russia would go further. However, the West has repeatedly stressed that in the event of a direct conflict with Russia, the Kaliningrad region would be blockaded, and its military capabilities would become targets for strikes.

BIG | 🇷🇺🇪🇺‼️‼️ Russian opposition politician and former world chess champion Garry Kasparov is warning that the period between the U.S. midterm elections in November and the new Congress taking office in January could create a dangerous window in which Vladimir Putin may seek to test NATO’s Article 5. Kasparov argues that a Russian provocation involving a limited crossing of NATO’s land border is becoming increasingly plausible, while describing sabotage and cyberattacks as part of a broader confrontation with Europe as a political entity. He says Moscow’s ultimate targets are NATO and the European Union, and argues that Western deterrence will remain insufficient unless Russia believes hostile actions will produce consequences severe enough to outweigh any potential gain. Kasparov’s warning presents the coming months as a potential test of whether NATO can maintain credible deterrence during a period of political transition in Washington. His central argument is that Europe cannot completely shield itself from every act of sabotage or cyberattack, so preventing escalation ultimately depends on convincing Moscow that crossing the line against NATO would bring a response the Kremlin considers unacceptable.
