You're fucking stupid. They don't want their anime for an Islamic terrorist regime change and know one piece is there to enjoy and want it to have the freedom to be enjoyed elsewhere. And you got Luffy wrong. He restores monarchys and stop the peoole that invaded
But in all seriousness, the reaction from Japanese One Piece fans to people using the Straw Hat Jolly Roger in protests has been genuinely pissing me off. So many of them are more concerned about people bringing One Piece into real-life politics, calling it dangerous rhetoric and worrying that the series could get banned in certain countries, than they are about WHY people are even using it in the first place.
And I think this perfectly highlights the disconnect between Japanese fans and international fans. For some of them, One Piece is a manga they love and want to protect from controversy. For a lot of us, its themes of oppression, corruption, government tyranny and the fight for freedom hit a little closer to home. Some of us have lived through these things. Some of us have watched our families and loved ones suffer and die because of corrupt governments and injustice.
They can afford to treat these themes as fiction because they don’t necessarily have to relate them to their own reality. But when people who have experienced these things firsthand see the Straw Hat flag as a symbol of resistance and freedom, why is they’re first reaction to police how other fans use it rather than understand why it resonates with them in the first place?
And that’s what bothers me. Instead of trying to understand why people from completely different backgrounds see themselves in this story, they’re dismissing it as dangerous political rhetoric that might get one piece banned in these countries

Anime is being used for terrorism in France. You will notice a pattern that all mainstream shonen is being used for these evil acts too. Japan has started to even call out the usage of their property for the riots and looting taking place. youtu.be/7xEqVV-kO6Q
Beloved western IPs: gets raped into the ground by leftists and their retarded ideology that caters to destructive third worlders
Eastern IPs: gets used by third worlders for terrorism
We can’t coexist with leftists and especially third worlders.

So once you hit 16 you must waste your life arguing about issues you have zero control over rather than living your life?

I hate it when remakes have the same names as the original game as I just makes it way harder to search up the original

I agree out of all the big three, Nintendo is literally THE LEAST worst company out of them. PlayStation literally is removing Physical and stated “you don’t own your games” mentality. While also making very questionable decisions besides that.

I covered before how the Straw Hat symbol was used for strictly anti- corruption protests in the Philippines and Indonesia.
But THIS has gone too far and it will give governments and globalists more reasons to go after or censor Japanese anime. 😳😠

🇯🇵🙄 There's a CLEAR line between fictional anime and reality and people like you are making the rest of us anime fans LOOK BAD while proving the Japanese fans rightly concerned.

Take notice of the anime content creators that are not speaking up about how anime is being used for Terrorism in France.
Accompany this with the VA stuff earlier this week. Its pretty damning

All of these companies are shitty in their own ways, but I’d say almost objectively Nintendo is one of the best gaming companies to be supporting right now. One of the few that aren’t pushing AI and laying off thousands of employees whenever they feel like it.

>This poster is mad Japan is calling it out
The fact you got so many likes for you being upset with the Japanese calling you out is proof how infected the Anime Community actually is
