Every print in my shop is a moment I stood in: the Sonoma coast in the fog, Yosemite, the wildlife I waited for.
Everything is 15% off through Nov 7 with code FRIENDS.

Anyone listening? It's just before 6pm on the left coast and I'm 2 bourbon's in.
ps; I HATE TENNESSEE
Hey @tom_hart tell your dipshit color guy we KNOW CJ caught the convicts mask. The worthless refs still missed it, and him saying it 47 times does no good. FUCK, what a terrible broadcast booth.
Roommate got yelled at for being in front of TV during our last fumble.
Response, "Seriously?"
My response: "Get your California lovin' ass outta my way when the game's on peasant!"
Where's the Tylenol?
Half Dome above the trees, with clouds moving through. I called it The Weight of Silence for the feeling of standing there and just taking it in. rogerelliottphotos.etsy.com/… #Yosemite
One of my new friends I made earlier this week at @PointReyesNPS. I call her the "Queen of Pt. Reyes!"
Wait, I was suppose to manifest in front of @MandyLSimard .... I'm going back to sleep! ☺️
She gave me this look and a peace sign like we'd known each other for years. That's why I carry a camera. From my Rivertown series. rogerelliottphoto.com/rivert…
I grow sunflowers every year so the birds have a reason to come around. Once the heads dry, the goldfinches show up for the seeds. etsy.com/listing/1786731475/… #birdphotography
There are angels we don't always recognize. Sometimes they wear hats. From my Rivertown series, Some Angels Wear Hats. rogerelliottphoto.com/rivert…

Notice the move. Don’t answer the concern, just laugh at it. When a real worry gets turned into a punchline, the goal isn’t to inform you. It’s to make you feel silly for asking. Ridicule isn’t a rebuttal. Stay sharp, and don’t let anyone laugh you out of your own questions.
#BBN we've had some rough seasons. No more!
@UKFootball The sun shines bright! All your'n!
I photographed this house finch working along a branch as the first blossoms opened. It's one of my favorite signs that spring has started. etsy.com/listing/1786141365/… #birdphotography
Tomorrow, the 14th, I turn 63.
There's a lot of heartache and grease in this old body. 63 years of living, loving, losing, laughing, making mistakes, and occasionally learning from them. I've had some mighty good days, some rough ones, and a few Iwish I could forget. But I'm still here, and I've got plenty to be thankful for.
The older I get, the more I realize life is too damn short to spend it angry at the world. I'd rather spend my time on the people and things that matter.
So for my birthday, I've got one simple request. Show somebody a little love. Call an old friend. Be kind to somebody who needs it. Don't wait until somebody's gone to tell them what they meant to you. (They won't hear ya)
The days I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations are really good days. (Thank you, @raywylie)
And more than anything, GO BIG BLUE! Kentucky will always be my home, no matter where I lay my head.
Here's to 63. Much love and peace to all of you. And if one morning I don't wake up, don't worry about me. I'll meet you on God's Golden Shore.
If you're in the Sonoma County area, treat yourself to the Riverfront Cafe. Today I had their philly cheesesteak and it was easily the BEST I've ever had!
Been working on images from a trip this past spring w my son. 400-500+ images each day. You might see 20 or so. This was the last one on the last day.
I need this peace
Go to sleep knowing….
Every night, God asks you to surrender control of a world you were never in charge of in the first place.
And yet, we lie awake rehearsing conversations, worrying about problems, and imagining circumstances that may never happen.
But remember this:
God does not need you to stay awake for Him to remain faithful.
Psalm 121:4 reminds us that the One who watches over His people neither slumbers nor sleeps.
That means while your eyes are closed, His are not.
While your mind is resting, His wisdom is not diminished.
While your strength is being restored, His power is not exhausted.
While tomorrow remains uncertain to you, it is already known to Him.
You don’t have to finish everything to rest in Him. Leave tomorrow where it belongs: in the hands of the Lord. The same God who carried you through today will be waiting for you when morning comes.
