Ontario grain farmers are urged to scout for Stripe Rust after cases were confirmed in Huron and Oxford counties.
Due to the current wheat growth stage and how quickly this disease can develop, growers should be vigilant and scout their fields. T3 spraying is a long way off, so waiting until pollination is not a good plan. Scouting and spraying infected fields is the best plan – more information on identifying and managing Stripe Rust can be found in the following factsheet 👉️ buff.ly/xeieQLu
