Conclusion: There is a positive correlation between perceived disease impact (LIT) and both disease activity and organ damage. Fibromyalgia, depression, and thyroid disease strongly worsen perceived QoL. Hydroxychloroquine appears protective.

Age, previous hospitalisation for SLE, previous severe infection and dose of steroid (categorised) are the elements of SLESIS R. Much easier than SLESIS. But based on only one-year follow up and 25 severe infections.
