Thank you, John, for 11 years of unwavering love and support for Halo. To the community - you couldn't have asked for a more dedicated and determined advocate and representative. There are many reasons over the years that not everything ended up the way everyone wanted in the games, but I can assure it was *not* for lack of your internal advocacy and perseverance. And perhaps most admirably to me, you pushed uphill tirelessly, always with grace, patience, and positivity. Most people don't know what you did behind the scenes and never will. But you never did it for fame or recognition. Even beyond the insights and perspectives you provided across the development team, your hands-on efforts leading Infinite's sustain gameplay team (and H5 sustain prior that) resulted in so much player goodness. I didn't think the Falcon would ever see the light of day - but you and the team did it (and you never let that dream die!). You also applied that same passion and intention outwards in support of the community itself looking for opportunities to support and provide a platform for creators and voices. Coming from the Halo creator side yourself, you always went out of your way to try and lift others up. I'm really sad and angry that this 11-year chapter comes to a close like this. @Activision please hire this man to be a part of the future of Halo - you will not find someone more knowledgeable, hardworking, uplifting, or unabashedly in love with Halo than John.
