I went to the Japan premiere of “Godzilla Minus Zero” at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya. As a huge Godzilla fan and a fan of Minami Hamabe, this is a film I’ve been eagerly waiting three years to see. And I got to see it in IMAX!!! There were moments that played out just as I imagined, moments that surprised me in the best possible way, moments beyond anything I could have imagined, and moments clearly made for hardcore fans (scenes that brought tears to my eyes as a longtime fan, and scenes I’d always dreamed of seeing brought to life)….. I can’t say anything more without giving away spoilers. By the final climax, I was so excited that I practically felt dorsal fins sprouting from my back and an atomic heat ray blasting out of my mouth! There’s also a little of that “Always: Sunset on Third Street” feeling, perhaps because it’s directed by Takashi Yamazaki. The film opens in Japan on November 3. Once it’s released, I’ll definitely be seeing it a few more times in IMAX.
I love that last response, like sometimes you just need to pay attention instead of over analyzing every little detail

Looks like we have a new Black vampire coming soon played by French-Senegalese actress, Aminata Thiboult in 'I Love Paris' (2026).
I might be the latest person ever (I think I saw this movie as a kid) but the Addams Family is incredible

Dracula’s realtor is the kind of thing you’d think is a joke, maybe an SNL sketch. But actually it’s just the real premise of Dracula
Pretending like something just as stupid as demonic possession is somehow better because it isnt ambiguous Is funny
This is the best thing the franchise has done in 40 years. The original films were always vague and lazy about why Jason couldn’t die ‘he just came back as a zombie’ was never a real explanation. Giving him a concrete Cold War genetic origin (cockroach DNA + trauma making him stronger) actually makes the character scarier and more grounded than the random demonic possession nonsense from Jason Goes to Hell.
The people calling this ‘ruining the mythology’ are the same ones who accepted him going to space in Jason X without complaining. You can’t have it both ways."
