👑 After every Coronation, a ‘Coronation Roll’ is produced. This historic document records details of the service for posterity. Now, for the first time, a digital version has been created.
📜 The physical version of the roll was presented to The King and Queen earlier this week.
The Coronation Roll is the State record of a monarch's accession and Coronation, dating back to 1308.
For the first time, you can explore a digitised version of King Charles III's Roll through a new UK Government project.

Congratulations to the residents of Douglas on the Isle of Man! The Queen’s visit today celebrates the location’s City status which was granted as part of the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
🚤 The Island is also the birthplace of the RNLI. Douglas resident Sir William Hillary - having witnessed dozens of shipwrecks around the Manx coast - set up the Institution to protect and save lives at sea.
