Over the past few months, our team has been incredibly busy, and I’m excited to share another milestone. We recently closed on the acquisition of another oilfield service company, expanding our capabilities in East Texas with several additional workover rigs and a wireline unit joining our fleet. At the same time, our operations team is pulling permits for the next seven wells on our drilling schedule, including one planned to approximately 16,000 feet. It’s shaping up to be an exceptionally busy second half of the year as we continue to invest in equipment, expand operational capacity, and execute on opportunities across our portfolio. A huge thank you to our employees, operating partners, investors, and everyone working behind the scenes. Google’s $900 million bet on SpaceX has grown into a stake worth over $100 billion as Elon Musk’s space company closed its Nasdaq debut at a $2.1 trillion valuation. In 2015, Google and Fidelity invested $1 billion in exchange. Google invested approximately $900 million in SpaceX for a stake of around 7.64%. SpaceX was valued at roughly $12 billion at the time of investment. Google’s ownership stake stood at approximately 6.11% at the end of 2025, based on the Alaska filing. However, dilution from the February xAI merger may have lowered the tech giant’s effective stake to around 5%, which would value the holding at roughly $105 billion. Google also agreed last week to pay SpaceX $920 million a month for AI computing power through June 2029. The deal totals about $30 billion and sits beside Anthropic's $1.25 billion monthly contract.
