Of the religion-related races @RNS was watching, only one (AZ-1) has yet to be called.
Overall, Dem clergy had a very good night, w/Black Protestant and mainline Christian pastors/seminarians locking in wins.
Also: Ohio's first Jewish governor, and the first Muslim U.S. Senator
My final report for tonight: From Texas to Kansas to Iowa to Michigan, Democratic candidates drew on their religious values this election cycle — and won.

Yesterday, we found out that Cong. Paolo Duterte filed libel complaints against GMA journalists. Today, journalist Philip Lustre is arrested in a press conference over a warrant from Davao for a cyber libel case he did not know existed. Libel must be decriminalized.

I'm starting to get concerned that not a lot of folks (esp ones in power) are talking about our climate in the next few months.
From November onwards, a lot of the PH will receive way below normal rainfall. We're talking effectively no rain for months in some places.
