Bittensor recently released Null Consensus, a major protocol update expanding subnet capacity from 256 to 2,500 participants.
It introduces a new way to determine miner rewards, giving subnet owners an alternative to Yuma Consensus.

‼️ PoC Released for Critical VMware VMXNET3 Flaw Enabling Guest-to-Host Code Execution
Details: cybersecuritynews.com/vmware…
A public proof of concept is now available for CVE-2026-59346, a critical integer overflow flaw in VMware’s VMXNET3 virtual network adapter.
The flaw can allow an attacker with administrative access inside a guest virtual machine to execute code on the host. However, the published PoC shows a host process crash, not a working code-execution exploit. Its advisory lists Workstation and Fusion versions 25H2 and 26H1 as affected.
The vendor security advisory states that no workaround is available. The flaw sits in the TCP Segmentation Offload, or TSO, processing path within the host’s VMware-VMX process. TSO splits a large network packet into smaller segments.

Earlier today NEAR Intents services were stopped after a security incident was detected. The incident was caused by a bug in the Omni deposit and withdrawal infrastructure interaction with NEAR Intents smart contract.
The preliminary report indicates the total loss of approximately $3.8M. These funds will be compensated in full.
The contract-side vulnerability has been patched. The operations of the NEAR Intents and near(.)com are expected to resume within 1h.
Deposits and withdrawals on the following networks will remain unavailable for an additional ~12 hours while fixes to the Omni infrastructure are completed: BSC, Polygon, TON, Optimism, Avalanche, Stellar, Monad, LayerX, Adi, Scroll and Plasma.
In case users hold any assets from these chains inside NEAR Intents (for example, in HOT wallet or on near(.)com), they will be able to swap them into other assets once NEAR Intents is back up (in ~1h).
The incident has been reported to law enforcement, and we are working with security and blockchain analytics partners to trace the funds and pursue recovery. A detailed report will be shared publicly in the following days.

Imagine that different agents specialize in different tasks. Similar to different skilled jobs.
One agent is good at anaylzing images. Another specialized in translating text. A third specialized in creating legally compliant contracts.

Follow up to the ADS vs Steganography breakdown. Here's ADS in action. I hid a 19.3 GB zip (android13.zip) inside a 1.77 KB text file using NTFS Alternate Data Streams.
Open the folder in Explorer and ADS.txt shows as 2 KB, a plain text document. Looks completely ordinary. Nothing about the size hints at what's attached to it.
Right-click → Properties → check Size on disk: 18.4 GB. A 2 KB file consuming 18.4 GB on disk is the tell.
Standard dir shows nothing. dir /r exposes the stream.
ADS.txt:android13.zip:$DATA.
The full zip sits there, invisible through normal browsing, while the primary file remains unchanged and continues to function normally.
Two checks catch it
1. Compare Size vs Size on disk in Properties.
2. Use dir /r to enumerate named streams.
If your workflow stops at file size in Explorer, you're walking past this.
Credit to @mathias_fuchs, he pointed out that newer Windows versions account for ADS allocation in Size on disk. I tested the theory and confirmed it on my system.
A 1.47 MB JPG caught my attention today.
It looked out of place in the folder. I took a look under the hood. Using Steghide, I found an embedded ref.xml file inside the image.
To a regular user, it's just a JPG. It can be shared, uploaded, or passed around without anyone realizing they're helping transport hidden data. This is what secret communication can look like in plain sight.
It also got me thinking about Alternate Data Streams (ADS) vs Steganography. Both can be used to hide data inside or alongside another file. The difference is where the data is stored and what forensic artifacts are left behind.
𝐀𝐃𝐒 (𝐍𝐓𝐅𝐒): Data is stored in an alternate stream associated with the file. The primary data stream remains unchanged, and the additional stream isn't normally visible through standard Explorer browsing.
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲: Data is embedded into the container itself. Depending on the technique, this can affect the file's structure, metadata, size, or other measurable characteristics. Same objective, different artifacts.
Personally, when working with NTFS, I'd lean toward ADS for two reasons.
1. The visible file size stays the same.
The hidden data exists in an alternate stream rather than the primary file content.
2. The primary file remains intact.
The original data stream isn't modified, allowing the file to continue functioning normally while additional data exists alongside it.
That's what makes this interesting from a forensic perspective. A file can look completely ordinary in Explorer while containing data that isn't immediately visible. Simple to implement, easy to overlook.
Knowing where to look matters just as much as knowing what to look for.

I see a lot of people getting worried about @arc .
"I thought @MultiversX was the only one building this."
"Arc is already ahead."
"What about @crossriverbank ?"
Don’t be afraid of competition.
Look at what is actually happening.
Circle launches Arc as an "Economic OS for the Internet", built around stablecoins, payments, tokenized assets, financial markets and AI agents.
Cross River is talking about going fully agentic and onchain.
@stripe and @tempo are building machine payment infrastructure.
And MultiversX has been building around the same emerging direction with Supernova, @xMoney_com , Finance Computer, MachineOS and its agentic stack.
Different rails. Different architectures. Different players.
But the same massive shift is becoming visible:
Money is becoming programmable.
Software is becoming economic.
Machines are becoming able to transact.
Finance is moving onchain.
And here’s the part I think people are missing:
We don’t need to own the whole cake.
We just need a piece of it.
If this market becomes as big as it increasingly looks, one meaningful slice could already be enormous for MultiversX and $EGLD .
I told you before:
Maybe we weren’t looking at the future of one blockchain.
Maybe we were watching the early formation of an entirely new financial system.
And now more and more of the world is starting to build toward it.
👀
I’m going to try to show you how I arrived at this conclusion.
Since Supernova went live, I’ve been digging deep into @MultiversX , @xMoney_com , Finance Computer, @xPortalApp and everything being built around agents.
And when you put all the pieces next to each other, something starts to become much clearer:
The real economy
↓
@xMoney_com → regulated financial rails
↓
Stablecoins → programmable, interoperable money
↓
@xPortalApp → the interface for users
↓
Finance Computer → brands, markets and machines
↓
Agent & Payment Protocols → software that can act and pay
↓
Supernova → infrastructure capable of 600ms execution
↓
@MultiversX → the underlying ledger
↓
$EGLD → security, gas, governance and value capture
And what strikes me the most is that these pieces aren’t isolated.
They’re starting to form one programmable financial architecture for people, businesses and machines.
I’m not saying everything I’m imagining is already built.
There are still plenty of pieces to come.
But this is exactly how I got here.
I tried to put the whole puzzle into one image so it’s much easier to understand.
Take a look.
