We've taken a long run up to the festive season. Decorations went up in November. Tunes began playing at the start of December. It's jumper day today and a shindig on Saturday. There's still a long way to go, but in the spirit of the season, Merry Christmas from all at RAPIvD.

We were discussing the platypus yesterday (as you do). It is described in a YouTube video as the 'King of Weirdos' - we like that - and have adopted it as an unofficial emblem. There's a mini platypus hidden on our website. If you know us, you won't be surprised where it is.
In our first #RAPBlog article, Richard Wightman questions the wisdom of using common industry terminology on products and customer-facing materials.
As ever, five star reviews, gushing praise and any other positive feedback is most welcome.

First day in the office after an excellent @BioDotInc workshop/conference last week. Plenty of interest in Rob's presentation, especially our positive-read small molecule assay development, Gemina Labs chemistry and @Stream_Bio CPNs. rapivd.com/presentations
Huge congratulations to our COO, Tina Hurst who completed the London Marathon at the weekend, raising over £1300 for The National Deaf Children's Society.
From a rain-drenched Greenwich Park to sunshine on The Mall... and still smiling. 👏 👏 👏
Owen won the 'stick the post-it note as high as you can' comp at Colworth Science Park. Jess came second. Oli the twerp, third. Oli's V2 attempt was only to prove that he 'could have won'. Oli won't be dining on Pot Noodle tonight and cleansing with a Radox bath bomb. Owen will.
Meet Owen. Owen is tall too. After some twerp called Oli tried to spoil Jess' fun, Owen restored the natural order of things. #stillwinning
Well done to our own Leanne Walker. Celebrated for her contribution to R&D at Colworth Science Park. A leading location for scientific development and innovation for more than 70 years. #WomenInScience

Good news. We've successfully developed a prototype rapid multiplexed influenza A/B lateral flow assay. rapivd.com/news
Merry Christmas to us. Rather nice to receive confirmation of our achievement of ISO 13485 for 'Contract development and manufacture of lateral flow assays for IVD'.

Day 4. Looks like we'll be very busy for the foreseeable future. Loads of interest. Gonna need a bigger lab. #MEDICA2022
