@RAMLABNL Co-founder Vincent Wegener is helping the Port of Rotterdam use #3Dprinting to make spare parts where & when they’re needed. No. 1 request was to make big parts, so using robotic wire arc welding, Autodesk software & machine learning for automation. #XLR8Fusion
Tomorrow we'll start the production of the WAAMhook together with our consortium partners Huisman Equipment, voestalpine Böhler Welding and @autodesk. Class societies @DNVGL, ABS and @BureauVeritasNL will closely monitor the process. All systems are go!
