That’s what I said. Bad guys will find ways to get abliterated LLMs so let’s not disarm the good guys.
The only thing that stops a bad guy with an abliterated LLM is a good guy with an abliterated LLM.

The first one is a lay up difference of 2 squares but still the quickness is still a marvel. The second one really shows that his mind is just ridiculous not just on Math but on reading and understanding.

Jack is always in the kitchen🔥. A native-speech model is huge for bantu language because it keeps the tone that is lost in text pipelines. I can't wait to read the paper. Open source it so we can distill it.
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

Jesus gave us the game in the parable of the talents.
Apple was founded by three men on April 1, 1976. Twelve days later, one of them sold his 10% stake for $800. In the video below, Wozniak says: "We went into the garage when we were two young people with no money." Ronald Wayne was the third. Jobs and Wozniak held 45% each. Wayne held 10% and drafted the partnership agreement. Wayne has said Jobs brought him in as someone he could trust, a mediator between the two Steves. Wozniak says of the two of them: "We had no business experience." Apple was a partnership, not a corporation. Wayne has cited the financial risk. He also told one interviewer he feared a life of shuffling papers. He got $800 for his share. Later, he took another $1,500 to give up any future claims on the company. That is $2,300 in total. At Apple's value of roughly $4 trillion, Yahoo Finance reports, a 10% stake could theoretically be worth more than $400 billion. Wayne says he has no regrets. He told Fortune his success was never defined by money. Two partners sold a calculator and a van to fund the first boards. The third took $800 and left. Was Wayne's exit the worst business decision ever made, or a reasonable call for the one partner whose own money was on the line?

How the turntables....
The funny thing is everyone was saying AI slop code will cause a cyber crisis but it’s actually all the old human slop causing it and the AI is just cleaning it up

Imagine your net worth is $200,000. One day an armed gang comes up to your house and demands $10,000. “Don’t worry!” the leader says. “I’m only going to do this one time. Plus, it’s only 5% of your net worth. What’s the big deal ?” After he leaves, you call the cops, but they aren’t interested in investigating the matter. “What’s the big deal?” they tell you. “After all, it’s only 5% of your net worth!” As you’re preparing to flee the city for a place where you cannot be robbed, Gabriel Zucman appears on your doorstep. “Why are you leaving?” he asks. “Somebody just robbed me and the police aren’t going to do anything. I want to live somewhere I can’t be robbed!” “But sir,” says Mr Zucman, “Have you considered the fact that the man told you it was a one-time tax ? Have you considered that you gain nothing by leaving since the tax is already paid ? There’s no economic reason for you to leave anymore.”
What amazes me is the attitude of so many of the centibillionaires. A 5% tax will not make any difference to the way they live. Their spending may be extravagant, but it is still much less than their (correctly measured) income. They know that, as gifted as some of them indeed are, they have benefited from extreme luck (and the help of the state, and, to speak like an economist, monopoly rents). They know that their effective tax rate is low, relative to what many others pay. They know that extreme inequality is extremely unpopular, and can lead to political unrest, backlash, or worse. They must admit that, morally, it is hard to argue for a society in which some become obscenely wealthy, while so many are poor and see their income stagnate. They typically have not indicated that they are building their wealth to eventually make the world a better place. But they are still willing to fight the tax, spending hundreds of millions in California to avoid paying the tax. Why? They simply think what is theirs is theirs, end of story. They believe in the slippery slope, and if they do not take a stand on this levy, the government will come back for more. They hate the state and the notion that their money will be misused? Or?

Benchmarking CERN is crazy. What's next? Physics Gates and Jobs, a fusion reactor in every home?
Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10. Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years. Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

We also see it in the streets, Zambian food products are moving so much in the Zimbabwean informal market. National Foods was feeling the heat so much so that they pushed for regulation.
Zimbabwe claims its economy is more than twice the size of Zambia’s and roughly the same size as Uganda’s. This despite Zambia consuming considerably more electricity and fuel, while Uganda runs a national budget twice the size of Zimbabwe’s. Analysts have a duty to test claims and publish their findings. That is precisely what economic analysis is for. Official statistics are not holy writ, in many ways they benefit from critical analysis and feedback. Which technical feedback we have happily supplied . Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The production is world class. This is a well funded operation.

Zelensky appears to spit toward feet of Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf after the king refused to shake his hand Carl XVI Gustaf just stared in disbelief The internet is now debating whether Zelensky really spat or not
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

Delirious is the Thriller of comedy. It's crazy that they came out within 12 months of each other.
If you put Chappelle, Carlin or Pryor above Eddie Murphy — I’m questioning your taste in comedy. This is the funniest man who ever lived!

LiteLLM getting hit again, so unlucky.
they’re calling it the black October lmao. > node.js: security vulnerability. > PHP: critical RCE vulnerabilities. > tensorlake: npm package infected. > liteLLM: malicious PyPI + Docker releases > Railway: customer secrets exposed > zeabur - infrastructure breached. > OpenCode: AI API keys exposed. > OVHcloud CLI: official binaries backdoored. > RankMath PRO: malware inside official plugin. > TeamUpdraft: customer data compromised. > ConnectWise: cloud backup identities compromised. > SubQuery: backdoored npm package. > GhostAction: GitHub repos with malicious workflows (related to the broader Shai-Hulud/ChainDrop activity). > eMudhra: certificate authority keys compromised (with downstream impact on Tailscale). this some complete madness bro. 1/3 of the internet is fucked.

I knew this day was coming but this looks bad. The real threat is not on live production apps it's on the forgotten internet where apps have user data but are not being maintained anymore. No alarm bells will ring.
Whats happening right now is probably way worse than the Hugging Face incident. AI-powered attacks are hitting real organizations while major platforms disclose breaches and critical flaws. - Microsoft reports AI agents targeting hundreds of organizations, reaching privileged cloud access in under three hours in multiple cases. It attributes the ConnectWise compromise to the same group. - CrowdStrike documented four operators running successful AI-agent campaigns. One compromised at least 15 Argentine healthcare organizations. - PHP2Shell: AI helped turn longstanding PHP flaws into working exploits. Cloudflare’s CEO reports millions of exploitation attempts. Their AI involvement is unknown. - Railway disclosed possible access to customer secrets. LiteLLM shipped a backdoored release. Zeabur confirmed another breach and is shutting down. - GitLab patched a maximum-severity flaw affecting 12 years of releases. Node.js patched a serious code-execution vulnerability, with Vercel deploying firewall protections. Feels like a turningpoint.
