Thank you to our incredible partner Abogada Naimeh Salem for helping make our State of the Schools luncheon such a success. The turnout was truly remarkable, and it was inspiring to see so many passionate supporters gathered together for Southwest Public Schools.
We are deeply grateful for a community that believes in our students, our staff, and the transformational work happening across our schools every day. Your support makes these opportunities possible.
Such a powerful reminder that when our community comes together, we are Southwest Strong.

Congratulations to Dr. Roosevelt Nivens, @LamarCISD National Superintendent of the Year!
Appreciated powerful insights from Dr. McGown @KleinISD and Dr. Salazar-Zamora, and proud of Dr. Goffney @TheRealBuzz, incoming AASA National President. We are @Region4ESC Strong!
Honored to serve on a panel at #TCEA discussing Navigating Data Governance in Texas Public Education.
We explored how cybersecurity, AI, interoperability, and policy intersect, and why data governance is now an enterprise responsibility impacting public education.
We celebrate Dr. Nivens and @LamarCISD on this acknowledgment, but more importantly, the character, example, and servant heart demonstrated through his leadership. Thank you for being an example across @Region4ESC in public and behind the scenes.
Congratulations to #LamarCISD Superintendent Dr. Roosevelt Nivens on being named the 2026 National Superintendent of the Year by AASA!🎉
We are #LamarCISDProud to see our district represented on the national stage.

Cold weather, warm conversations. Despite an unusual Midwinter chill in San Antonio, we were grateful to gather at the TASA Midwinter Conference for meaningful sessions, great conversations at our exhibit, and a wonderful breakfast with school administrators from across Texas. Thank you to everyone who joined us. We left inspired, energized, and thankful for the connections made.
