v2 of @QwikDev spent two years in beta: new runtime, optimizer rewritten based on Oxc, build on Vite 8 and Rolldown.
@shai_reznik on where that time went and what it yielded in "Qwik 2: Stop spending AI tokens on performance"
@ViteConf 2026, Thu 15 Oct, 14:00 UTC. Free and online.

Did you notice that there is Qwik v2 out of order streaming in there? 🤩
Asked Claude to explain "javascript streaming" in a short video using our discord emoji.
Basically one prompt and it came back with this 🤯
This is yet another educational revolution in the making.
Goes a little fast, you might want to watch in 0.75 speed.
Lmk what you think!

This is why we don't hydrate...
Looking at this all again confirmed proper deferred hydration isn't simple. @QwikDev have my kudos. Anything short of a reactive graph "wake-up" is error prone.
Everyone wants a deferred hydration story. It benches well.
But moment boundaries share state...
Every Qwik lint rule. Now in Biome. 🔥
Biome 2.4.11 is out! In this release, we finished implementing all the @QwikDev specific lint rules from eslint-plugin-qwik. This makes it the first framework that is 100% supported by Biome, no extra dependencies needed!

A change done by our beloved @wmertens. Thanks for relentlessly improving qwik ⚡️
One of the first to adopt the awesome @rolldown_rs project.
Thanks @evanyou for the shoutout! 🙌

That's the spirit of Open Source! Thanks @iitzIrfan
Picked up a @QwikDev issue nobody touched for a while and got it merged 🚀
Self-Hosting Deployment Guide is now live: qwik.dev/docs/deployments/se…
PR: github.com/QwikDev/qwik/pull…
Not the flashiest PR, but shipping the “unsexy” stuff is what keeps devs moving forward ⚡️

Replying to @ahudovich
@QwikDev . I know it's not in the picture but it's worth looking into. It's extremely optimized automatically providing great dx without high mental load
