Bloke walked less than 4 miles a day. I've walked further just to go to the pub. He's not a hero. He left his family for 28 years! He's a prick. β at Scunthorpe, England
Karl Bushby has arrived home in Hull after walking 30,000 miles over the last 28 years. He set off from southern Chile in 1998, aged 28, promising to walk all the way home.

THIS IS INSANE. He drugged her so that he could shove abortion pills into her mouth and vagina. He made an online pharmacy account in her name so he could secretly have the pills shipped to West Point. She also wanted to keep the baby. He even threatened that he would kill himself if she didn't get an abortion. She refused because she wanted to be a mother, so he drugged her to terminate the pregnancy. He left her there, and when she awoke, she called 911. She said she was in and out of consciousness during the attack, and every time she tried to spit the pills out, he would shove them back into her mouth.
He then went on to study at CORNELL and graduated with his BA in emergency medicine (ironic) in 2024. Yes, he was enrolled the same year the gang rape happened at the fraternity. He then enrolled at Columbia, where he is STILL enrolled. But it gets crazier because he asked if the judge could delay his sentencing so he could finish his semester at Columbia, and the judge granted the request. This piece of shit is allowed to complete his education after assaulting a woman. Meanwhile, there is no update on whether she even finished her schooling after the assault because of the mental and physical trauma she experienced.
This is ANOTHER case of a university being aware of a student sexually assaulting someone and still allowing them to finish their schooling. @Columbia should have expelled him immediately. Why are these schools protecting disgusting men?

Gentle reminder that the Β£10 Billion of your money that Burnham is giving Ukraine, is actually going to Nazis who do this to their own men and children.

π¨ SUMMARY: Shabana Mahmood's reforms to settlement in the UK for migrants
- Social care migrants who arrived before May 2025, earn at least Β£25,000 and meet their visa conditions will keep the 5 year wait to settlement, a U-turn on the proposed 15 years after Labour backlash
- Social care migrants who don't meet the above will be given a "second chance" and face a 10 year wait
- In another U-turn, 136,000 dependants of the eligible care workers will face a 5 year wait alongside their partners rather than having to qualify independently
- Migrants who didn't arrive by small boat will face a 10 year wait if they work or study, or 20 years if they don't. Small boat migrants will face a 20 year wait if they work or study, rising to 30 years if they don't
- The highest earners (Β£125,141+) will face a 3 year wait
- Doctors, nurses, teachers earning over Β£50,271 and refugees arriving through safe and legal routes will face a 5 year wait if they arrived before May 2025
- The standard wait for most other legal migrants will increase from 5 to 10 years, down from the proposed 15 years
- Migrants who breach visa rules or claim certain benefits will face a 20 year wait
- Migrants will also no longer be banned from claiming benefits after gaining settlement
- Anyone applying for settlement will need a clean criminal record, higher English language proficiency, no outstanding debts to the taxpayer and a record of sustained National Insurance contributions

There's no such thing as a "defensive strike" when you're illegally attacking another country.
