Aaaand we have a winner! With just 2 Entries / 1 Normie Purchase @QuentinXBT has won Pixels worth 0.105 eth.
Now he will be able to use these Pixels and customize his Normie. Congrats & Check your DM Quentin.
Prizepool for next month is even bigger :) Final numbers will be revealed once this month closes, but already the overall pool is bigger.
P.S: Each entry counts. As you can see, Quentin has won only with just 2 entries. 1 Pixel is all it takes.
My value pledge to Normies.
Last couple of weeks I've been thinking deeply how to provide value to @normiesART.
Decided the easiest and most effective way for me would be to share profits from my bot.
Effective retroactively, 25% profits from Normies Trades and 5% profits from other collections will be going towards a monthly Pixels raffle for Buyers of Normies/Pixels.
1 Normie Buy = 2 entries; 1 Pixel Buy = 1 entry.
As mentioned the revenue share will be applied retroatively too. So, for last 10 Normie trades (profit 0.42eth), the raffle is worth 0.105 eth. In september i got hacked so no profits from other collections, but on average this year Bot profit has been 1eth/month so should be a minimum of 0.05 each month from other collections profit. Plan is for the Prize to be MEANINGFULL each month. If I have to up a bit the % of profit given away, I ll do it.
Every raffle will be supervised by @serc1n to ensure fairness and integrity.
Starting today 11.10 for a period of 2 weeks, each buy of Pixel/Normie counts. Gl everyone!

Market conditions and participants may change. Fundamentals remain the same.

THE CULTURAL PROBLEM OF BITCOIN NFTS AKA ORDINALS
@Knox556 tweet really captures the state of Ordinals right now. Liquidity is drying up, and the ecosystem feels broken. Rare sats, low-number inscriptions, and unique art used to spark excitement, but now the focus has shifted to short-term flipping. Collections are dumped for a little profit, and the culture of valuing creativity and rarity is fading fast.

The cultural problem that we have with Ordinals is that no one sees any value in collecting anything any more
It used to be exciting to see a collection that used high file sizes, rare sats, or interesting art on Bitcoin - but now everyone is just racing to floor everything as quickly as possible to get a $10 profit
Why would any new creators want to launch anything here at all when you pair that with a much higher deployment cost?
Not sure what the solution is but we're just going to cannibalize our ecosystem if it continues down this path
Another major issue is the way liquidity has been redirected with the launch of protocols like Runes. Instead of helping Ordinals grow, Runes has pulled liquidity away, and now both Ordinals and Runes are struggling to gain real momentum. The liquidity vacuum has left both ecosystems in a precarious position, unable to break through and gain the traction they need to succeed.

As @udiWertheimer tweet puts it:
What could be the solution to Ordinals problems? A stronger focus on creator support - sustainable creator fees, collaboration over competition, and a shared vision for the ecosystem's growth. We need less short-term profit chasing and more long-term investment in art, community, and value. What do you think? Let me know your thoughts and solutions!
