ALT A graphic with a spacey purple and gold moodboard on the left, and a pitch on the right. Pitch reads: "Twelve years ago, Asteria became a god—almost. A group of false heroes hid the last bit of power she needed to consume, and they’ve been running since. The heroes and their daughter, Calypso, have spent that time building a weapon to kill a god. When Asteria captures Calypso and her crewmates to keep the heroes from using the weapon, Calypso sees her chance to fix everything. She plays a dangerous game, drawing Asteria in to find out her plans, tip off the heroes, and guide the god-king into the weapon’s crosshairs. And as long as the god-king doesn’t consume her first, it’ll work."

ALT A graphic showing comparative titles. Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil (toxic, obsessive sapphic romance); Some Desperate Glory (queer, dark tones & spaceships); The Locked Tomb series (magic lesbians in space).

ALT Metadata: Adult sapphic dark sci-fi fantasy / 110k words / first in a planned duology / dual-POV. A snippet on the left. The snippet reads: "Calypso breathed a sigh of relief when Asteria didn’t even mention the goosebumps that had risen over her entire body, spreading in a wave from that point of contact on her spine. The dance floor rose to hover above the rest of the room, bringing them closer to the glittering chandelier. And then they were dancing in time with every other couple around them. As if they were anything like those other couples, rather than…whatever they were. It was painfully easy to follow Asteria’s lead in this. But the people crowding the outsides of the dance floor were gossiping in small groups without even pretending to look away first. Would they not realize that she was dancing with her enemy? How could she make sure the audience— “Eyes on me, little trophy,” Asteria said in a low voice, fingernails biting against her back to bring her back to the present.
