I think you're stretching it to call them heroes. The handwriting was on the wall for years about the kind of person Trump is & they should have known better than to trust him w/ the ultimate power, which he has abused unlike any other president. But at least they have spines.

The each tried to prevent the two things that would doom his presidency, covering for Epstein and war with Iran, and for that they weren’t just ousted from his circle, but MAGA made enemies number 2 and 3.
Now everything they predicted and tried to prevent is coming true while the sycophants continue to deny reality and sink with the ship.
In the long run they’ll be heroes of the republic, if we can keep it.
