We're just 9 days away from the next deadline - this one is for full pay over 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦.
Although only a one week holiday for most, even just one week of full pay can make a big difference compared to one week of SMP or an unpaid week!

So this is why women don’t have smear tests. The next 16 weeks available appointments (so that’s beyond feb half term). As a teacher this is impossible plus as a woman with a short cycle this is made harder .
Remapping paper 2 teaching - how many lessons do people have for urban? It’s our worst performing paper by far!
Anyone study tourism at ks3? We’ve been given an extra lesson from another subject due to staffing and been ask to do Tourism (long story)! Can’t find anything in textbooks etc! Thanks
Any advice to help improve results rapidly? QA of teacher is deemed good by external obs and internal (we are seen 2-3 times a week supportive). Yet in the actual exams they just don’t even write anything?!

Ever heard the myth that you must return to work before a school holiday to get paid for it? It's not true!🤯 This is persistent fake news, but let's set the record straight on returning from leave and holiday pay!
TLR part time! Has anyone had it raised to full wage given the new rules from 2026? I’ve requested 0.8 but no news yet.

Some teachers are going to feel very anxious about going back tomorrow due to toxic behaviours in the workplace…this is for you…
Recommendations for somewhere to stay in Lake District in November. Must take dogs, 4 people and be as cheap as possible. Will be our first break since 2016 (gifted a small amount of money). #aqageography #LakeDistrict

As schools across England break up for the summer holiday, there is no better time to say THANK YOU to all the incredible teachers who've supported our children throughout this academic year.
