Finished Edge Runners Season 2!!! It was fucking me up the entire time because one of the characters names shares my nickname. Because of that the call outs were hitting deep enough to make me go “hey, the bits over. Please stop. :c” Def made me choke up!

Another fun note. Dance emotes can always sync with music so long as you set the speed of the dance to the right BPM. If your song is like 184 BPM, set the speed of the dance to like 0.180 and start ticking up by .05 increments till things line up on beat.

Before the timeline tool in brio I have so many frustrating shots that ended up looking good by moving the camera and character at the same time. I’d do about 30 minutes of takes just to get the right one!

The raw recorded files are usually about 5 to 10 minutes and I’ll snip a 3 second clip that I feel is the “right one” and I might use the rest for b-roll or something

Fun fact in that last music video. At the beginning there is a small flaw that I left in because it turned out to look good. Frogge does a quick spin to one side that isn’t part of the dance. That was an accident but because I already did the conveyor part I just left it. 🤣
