I genuinely believe people defending this highest level of toxicity and hatred from this 41-year-old retard are people that you will do business with and they will sabotage you.

When Oyinda asked Yoruba women to share their Gele pictures from when they were younger, nobody expected what followed. The internet suddenly became a beautiful gallery of Gele old photographs, childhood memories, mothers and daughters, and generations of Yoruba women proudly displaying a tradition they grew up with.
Every picture told a story. Every Gele carried a memory. It was more than fashion, it was a connection to home, family, culture and identity.
As I watched the pictures flood the internet, I began to wonder, where were those igbo/ ibo voices that have been trying to claim Gele as their own? Where were the people who suddenly discovered an interest in a tradition that Yoruba women have practised for generations?
I expected them to join the challenge. After all, if Gele has always been part of their cultural heritage, this was the perfect opportunity to show us those childhood pictures too.
But the pictures kept coming from Yoruba women, while the expected voices remained strangely quiet.
And that is when the irony struck me. You can argue on social media, you can make claims, and you can attempt to rewrite cultural history, but a simple collection of old photographs can tell a story that arguments cannot.
Culture is not something you acquire overnight because it has become fashionable. It is lived, inherited, practised and passed down through generations.
There is a difference between appreciating another people's culture and attempting to claim it as your own.
The internet has become a gallery of Yoruba Gele, and the pictures speak for themselves.
You can borrow the style, admire the beauty and even learn how to tie it. But you cannot manufacture another people's history.
Some people call it cultural appropriation. I call it trying to claim a heritage that generations of people can already prove is theirs.
As we are sharing our gele. Please use hashtag #BirthdayGele #GeleIsGele 🙏🏾
Let's make it trend today as well.

NAFDAC Uncovers Suspected Counterfeit Alcoholic Drinks Factory in Aba
NAFDAC has uncovered a suspected counterfeit alcoholic drinks production facility at No. 25 Omenazu Street, Aba, Abia State.
Acting on credible intelligence, officials discovered the facility operating in unhygienic conditions. The suspected operator reportedly fled upon the team’s arrival, abandoning a vehicle in which counterfeit packaging materials bearing the names of Sir Edwards Scotch Whisky and Scottish Hills Whisky, empty bottles and a drum containing approximately 200 litres of liquid were found.
Inside the facility, officials found counterfeit packaging materials, bottle caps, sealing machines, empty bottles, cartons, tanks containing various liquid concoctions and dirty sieves reportedly used in the production process. Plastic buckets and 200-litre drums containing ethanol and tree bark immersed in ethanol were also discovered, raising serious concerns about the safety and quality of the products being produced.
The estimated value of the equipment, materials and facility components is over ₦500 million. The Agency urges members of the public to provide credible information on suspected illegal manufacturing activities to the NAFDAC Call Centre on 0800-1-623322 or 0700-1-623322, or email [email protected].

I hope every Yoruba person can see beyond this thin-veiled insult, gaslighting and mumu-testing. Because if they can’t, they’d be the ultimate mumu-tool.
Every major ethnic group presented a candidate in 2023, the same has been repeated for 2027. BAT’s highest vote count from any zone came from the North.
APC is winning in his Cross River State; roughly 2 years ago, APC swept all the council seats in his state. Same is happening in the South East. Their governors and their people are now proudly APC. People are standing on the mandate across all 6 GPZs.
Guess the people he spotlighted for guilty-tripping?
Yeah right
