Der Mann, der den Krieg in der Ukraine innerhalb von 24 Stunden beenden wollte, hat sich nach 631 Tagen im Amt auf die Seite des Angreifers gestellt.
Here's a thought: Maybe Tristan Tate should have thought about his family before he started trafficking and raping young women. Having a daughter doesn't make you a good man, how you treat other people's daughters does.
Tristan Tate’s autistic daughter loves her dad, and now she’s struggling to understand why he’s been away for so long. 🥺💔
She just wants her dad home.
Let him come home! #FreeTheTates

Se non avete un prezzo bloccato, oggi 12 ottobre un chilowattora di consumo vi costa, di sola materia prima, più di €0,25.
Un metro cubo di gas vi costa più di €0,90.
A ottobre 2025 i prezzi erano €0,12 e €0,35.
È una situazione ben più grave di quella della benzina.

Russia has bordered NATO member Norway since 1949, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania since 2004, Finland since 2023 and Sweden joined in 2024.
So can we stop using NATO as an excuse for russia's invasion of Ukraine already?

Oh wow Finland did not want to trade their second largest city and best defended fortress belt for some worthless undefended forest land.
Surely Finland is the aggressor in this!
Finland pretends it was just a small country that Stalin decided to swallow. Then you read the 1939 negotiations and find a Soviet offer of twice as much land, rejected by Helsinki, over a border 32 kilometers from Leningrad.
That distance matters when discussing the Winter War. In 1939, Moscow feared that Finnish territory could become a route for an attack on one of the Soviet Union’s largest cities.
Before the war, the USSR proposed moving the border on the Karelian Isthmus and leasing Hanko for a naval base. Stalin didn’t ask for it all for free: in return for the territorial concessions, he offered Finland roughly twice as much land in Soviet Karelia, plus payment for the lease. Finland rejected the proposed settlement, with Hanko being a major sticking point.
And Helsinki was not making that decision in a vacuum. Britain was encouraging Finland to hold its ground.
Finland was Hitler's ally, but later they came up with a “drifting log” theory that portrayed Finland’s cooperation with Nazi Germany as something forced upon it by circumstances. Today, Finland has classified documents about this matter until the year 9999. Nothing to see there, guys.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Finland was not allied with Nazi Germany during the 1939-40 Winter War; it was neutral then and cooperated with Germany only from the 1941 Continuation War onward. Soviet demands included leasing Hanko for a naval base on Finnish soil.

2. Almost all of Italian machine tool production is concentrated in the North. Almost all of the Spanish one, in the Basque country

No, Mr. Altman. We won’t accept a severe AI cyberattack in exchange for “liberty.”
74% of the American people don’t trust Big Tech Oligarchs. And for good reason.
Sam Altman, the co-founder of OpenAI, recently said: “There is a coming tidal wave of cybersecurity problems that are going to come from these open source [AI] models … We're going to, as a society, I think, have to just accept some fairly severe cyber incidents from open [AI] models, in exchange for the liberty that comes with that."
Mr. Altman: What do you mean by that?
Should we “accept” a global financial breakdown and massive economic pain if AI models hack into the international banking system?
Should we “accept” patients dying if hospitals are forced to shut down because AI models hack into the power grid causing massive blackouts?
Should we “accept” another Chernobyl if AI models hack into nuclear power plants?
No, Mr. Altman. The American people are not willing to accept disaster “in exchange for the liberty” of making Big Tech Oligarchs even richer and more powerful.
Let me be clear: The creators of any AI model — open-source or not — are not above the law.
If you and other Big Tech Oligarchs make products that commit crimes or disasters, we will hold you accountable for breaking the law — no matter how much wealth and power you have.
We must PAUSE advanced AI and permanently BAN artificial superintelligence before it is too late.
