One insight that still stands out a year later: preparing for quantum risk is more than implementing new algorithms, it is about crypto agility at scale.
We are proud to be included as a case study in the World Economic Forum’s quantum technologies report.
The report emphasizes a hybrid, forward-looking security approach combining post-quantum cryptography with broader infrastructure readiness. That shift from point solutions to system-wide adaptability is where real progress happens.
Worth revisiting for leaders thinking beyond compliance toward long-term resilience. na2.hubs.ly/H05kgFb0

QuSecure has been selected by AFWERX for a $3.9M SBIR TACFI award to deliver IL6-ready post-quantum cryptographic capabilities supporting U.S. Air Force missions.
The SBIR Tactical Funding Increase (TACFI) program is designed to accelerate high-impact technologies into operational deployment readiness.
Impact Level 6 (IL6) authorization is required to operate in classified (Secret) Department of Defense environments — where mission systems rely on encrypted communications across cloud, edge, and legacy platforms.
As cryptographic standards transition to post-quantum algorithms, those classified systems must evolve without disrupting operations.
This effort advances QuSecure toward delivering post-quantum cryptography in Secret-level environments — enabling the modernization of defense infrastructure while maintaining mission continuity.
The award builds on our work with Air Force Global Strike Command and marks a significant step toward operationalizing crypto-agility across the Department of War. We are proud to support this mission.

Post-quantum compliance doesn’t start with algorithms.
It starts with visibility.
Before you can transition cryptography, you need to know what actually matters most.
High Value Assets (HVAs) are the systems that:
• Do the most work
• Move the most sensitive data
• Carry the highest operational and regulatory risk
QuSecure makes HVA discovery simple.
Identify where cryptography truly matters, assess exposure, and prioritize action—without complexity.
Step one to post-quantum readiness is knowing what to protect.
Cybersecurity doesn’t need louder voices.
It needs clearer ones.
That’s why we partnered with NFL Legend @DarrenSproles, because the way he built his career mirrors the way modern security has to work.
See what matters early.
Adapt without friction.
Trust your protection under pressure.
That’s not branding. That’s operating discipline.
As quantum computing moves from theory to timeline, cryptography stops being a background concern. It becomes infrastructure leadership. And leadership means making smart moves before you’re forced to.
This partnership is one of those moves.
Darren represents a mindset most organizations say they want — speed, adaptability, resilience — but rarely operationalize. QuProtect R3 makes that mindset real: cryptographic discovery, crypto-agility, and continuous reporting in one system.
No theatrics.
No panic.
Just readiness.
That’s what this is about.

QuSecure is very excited that our QuProtect platform has been named by @InfoWorld as the winner of its Technology of the Year Awards in the Data Management: Security category.
As InfoWorld Executive Editor Doug Dinely said: “Artificial intelligence is reshaping products across the technology landscape, often in surprising ways. Our 2025 Technology of the Year Award winners are the products at the leading edge of innovation — the ones putting the power of AI to practical use for enterprises.”
We launched QuProtect R3 in September as both a product upgrade and a way to change the conversation around cybersecurity in the hope of building a safer world in the post-quantum era. It comes with a brand-new Reconnaissance layer that’s accessible for free to qualified organizations, making it possible for them to identify their cryptographic vulnerabilities in real time and make informed decisions from there.
Assessing these vulnerabilities is a process that previously took months or even years, and came with a steep price tag. But with potentially just a few years until a quantum computer is powerful enough to break all current encryption systems, governments and enterprises need to act sooner rather than later. At QuSecure we’re committed to ensuring that they’re prepared for that with full transparency, not with an enormous price tag and opaque migration process.
We’re thrilled that a publication with the legacy and reputation of InfoWorld has recognized us for the work we’re doing. Congratulations to the other companies honored in the Data Management: Security category, @BedrockDataAI and @sentra_security. Let’s build a safer world together.
Your team shouldn’t need three different tools to discover, remediate, and document your cryptography and security posture.
QuProtect R3 brings it all together for you:
Recon for discovery and visibility
Resilience for remediation and crypto agility
Reporting for compliance
One platform. Complete coverage.
Everything you need. Nothing you don’t.
Proud to share that QuSecure’s own Austin Bosarge contributed to the new PQCC report “International PQC Requirements” — a first-of-its-kind, global survey of quantum-resistant cryptography standards.
As organizations worldwide begin mandating PQC compliance, the report maps critical divergences in approved algorithms, hybrid-standards, and implementation requirements across jurisdictions. For vendors and buyers alike, it’s essential reading — because navigating this patchwork is a non-trivial part of delivering quantum-safe solutions globally.
At QuSecure, our mission has always been to transform cryptographic risk into clarity. This publication underscores our commitment: not just to build quantum-safe technology, but to lead responsibly in global compliance and interoperability.

Do you know why so many describe post-quantum migration as "hard"?
Shifting algorithms, new standards, larger key sizes, and a lot of technical noise can sound intimidating.
Most organizations don’t have a cryptographer on staff… and, they shouldn’t need one.
That’s exactly why we built QuProtect R3.
Our platform delivers plain-English PQC guidance, automated recommendations, and turnkey enforcement policies so your team can move toward quantum-safe security with confidence — and without becoming crypto experts.
Post-quantum doesn’t have to feel overwhelming.
QuProtect R3 makes it simple.
The United States just took a major step toward the next era of scientific computing.
President Trump’s new Genesis Mission directs the Department of Energy to build a national AI and advanced-computing platform—leveraging the largest scientific datasets in the world and billions in new public-private infrastructure.
What does this mean?
A rapid acceleration in AI-driven research, discovery, and innovation across every federal domain: energy, medicine, national labs, defense, and beyond.
What it also means:
A massive expansion of sensitive federal data flowing through new AI systems, supercomputers, and cloud environments.
As AI scales, so does the responsibility to secure the cryptography that protects it.
NIST PQC standards and CNSA 2.0 timelines already require agencies to begin migrating to quantum-safe encryption—initiatives like Genesis will only accelerate that need.
At QuSecure, we’re helping federal partners modernize their cryptography, maintain continuity during upgrades, and ensure their AI-powered future is quantum-resilient from day one.
AI is advancing. Quantum is accelerating.
Security has to keep pace.

QuSecure’s own Dave Krauthamer was featured in a new industry spotlight from Telcom Ramblings with Robert Powell, discussing one of the most urgent challenges in cybersecurity: the shift from classical to quantum-era threats.
In the interview, Dave breaks down a truth many organizations are only beginning to confront:
Modern networks weren’t built for crypto-agility — and updating cryptography one app at a time is no longer viable.
Dave explains why:
- Hardware, middleware, and software stacks are filled with hidden keys, certificates, and ciphers that most enterprises don’t even know exist.
- Even “secure” systems can be compromised as soon as quantum capability reaches scale — a timeline now accelerating toward 2028–2030.
- True resilience requires a system capable of discovering, orchestrating, and upgrading cryptography across the entire network automatically — without ripping out legacy infrastructure.
That’s exactly why we built QuProtect R3.
Our platform provides:
- Recon: deep cryptographic discovery across endpoints, cloud, and embedded systems
- Resilience: automated crypto-agility and algorithm upgrades with zero downtime
- Reporting: continuous compliance aligned with federal PQC timelines and mandates
The post-quantum era isn’t a someday problem. It’s a now problem — and the organizations that prepare today will lead tomorrow.
