I rarely call out brands publicly, but this one genuinely hurts.
I’ve followed @GullyLabs since its inception, worn two pairs of their sneakers at my wedding, and recommended them to countless friends. I’ve always rooted for what @arjuns__ , Animesh and the team are building!
But this Durga Puja, they’ve lost me as a customer.
I ordered their special-edition Puja sneakers on October 12, specifically to wear during the festival. The website promised dispatch in 2 days. Eight days later, Puja is almost over, the shoes haven’t shipped, and there’s still no clear update.
What made it worse was the store experience.
After being told the pair was available in Bengaluru, I went to the store, only to be told otherwise. The salesperson then tried to pass off last year’s edition as the current one, couldn’t explain the differences, and was outright rude and dismissive when questioned.
For a sneaker brand built around culture, storytelling, and community, you’d expect the people representing it to understand both the product and the customer.
I’ve seen @arjuns__ & @GullyLabs talk so much about putting culture and customers at the heart of what they do. But culture isn’t just about the stories you tell or the sneakers you sell. It’s also about how you treat the people who believe in your brand.
I wasn’t just buying another pair of sneakers. I was buying something special for a festival that means a lot to me and my wife.
And that experience is now gone.
It’s disappointing to see a brand I’ve genuinely cherished since day one get something so fundamental so wrong.
You’ve lost a loyal customer, Gully Labs. And that genuinely makes me sad.
I'll be at #ConfigBLR 2026 with a few folks from the @JioHotstar #Design team!

It’s been a dream of mine to build a cabin in our cardamom estate in munnar, kerala.
I had a specific vision of a cozy space using reclaimed wood and stones from the estate where you want to just relax and i think we achieved it!

Had a lot of fun animating our new Grok Bot icon. It's entirely made in code, with every state, shape and expression able to morph smoothly into the other. And of course, I made it with Grok Build.

I was down with chickenpox recently which meant 10 days in isolation. One of my stalled projects that I got done was a science fiction short story at the intersection of the singularity, bangalore nostalgia, indian culture, patriotism and hindu mythology.

I've now added Wispr, Notion, Granola, Fireflies, Zoom, Gemini, Cluely, Otter, Fathom, Read AI, and Wingrep to every meeting.
Each produces slightly different meeting notes.
I send all of them to Claude and ChatGPT, which push the summaries into Slackbot and Salesforce AI. Linear agents automatically create tickets while Notion agents create follow-ups in Notion. A Zapier workflow then uses 500k tokens to draft a follow up email in Superhuman.
None of it works and all of it is wrong but man, is it beautiful.
AGI is here.

We had this long-standing papercut at Linear where the menu items overflow their outer container.
It was hard to fix, or so I thought, because the structure is pretty complicated given all the design details, so a simple overflow: hidden wouldn’t work as it would break the animation.
But today I had an epiphany that we could just use a simple CSS mask and fade the items out.
Here’s a before & after with a zoom on the problem, look at the left edge:
