Well a stakeout is the action, not the base. But we can call our base 'headquarters' or 'hideout', that sounds Ninja as hell.
I've got a couple good ideas in mind, I'll take you back to them when we're done setting up.

I do know this area well. It was where I have done most of my training in my Ninja Ways (hitting people with a scythe).
Once we've set up your surveillance jutsu, will we need somewhere to stay, for a stakeout?
