Quick update: We've been able to connect with the appropriate people. Thanks everyone for the help! Hopefully, we'll be able to get rid of the bogus website soon
If you find any links on the internet to the old domain kicad- pcb .org (not linked on purpose) make sure to ask the website owner to update it to the correct domain kicad.org
The more people that help with this the lower the impact to the project.
