If you planted an avocado seed on the day @RockstarGames announced GTA 6 development was "well underway," you would have a fully grown tree by now.
It has been exactly 4 years and 6 months, or 144,201,600 seconds.
Do you think it's been worth the wait?

Thereās just something about the song choice, scenes and imagery that likes up perfectly to create this ending scene that literally gives you butterflies. Just goes to show how much potential Rockstar has to make us feel these emotions, this is real artistry.

The ending of the GTA 6 Extended Look genuinely gave me chills man. Rockstar Games knew they were cooking up the greatest game of all time š®. #gtavı
Do you think this would have been a good mechanic to add to the game? Or did Rockstar make the right choice of adding unrealistic hunger instead, e.g Jason eating a bag of chips from the corner store in the trailer?

GTA 6 was apparently getting so detailed that Rockstar had to cut some of its realism.
Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson revealed that the team experimented with a system where Jason and Lucia could buy groceries at supermarkets and bring them home to restock their fridge.
The system included dedicated grocery stores, purchasable food and a fridge that would actually be replenished.
āAt one point during development, we were experimenting with a system that would allow you to buy groceries to restock the fridge.ā
Rockstar eventually removed it because it made the mechanics too complicated.
āWe are always trying to find the right balance between realism and ease of play.ā

GTA 6 feels like a combination of Red Dead Redemption 2, Max Payne 3, Watch Dogs 2 and Cyberpunk 2077.
Itās truly impressive, and the crazy part is this was all captured on a standard PS5.

I made most of my success on Roblox through game acquisitions. I acquired and ran most of big wins that people talk about when you think of acquisitions.
Here is my advice for developers if they are thinking of selling, or being approached by 10,000 different people asking to "buy" your game.
YOU DONT HAVE TO SELL
NEVER sign a contract with an option, right of first refusal or clauses to buy more of your game at a later date
NEVER SELL MAJORITY
THERE ARENT ANY SECRETS, most of these guys promise that they will help your game, like they are some secret keyholder to the algorithm... most of the people can't or won't help with your game.
The business model is the following: buy a game, and wait for the algorithm to pick it up. If the algo picks it up, put a team on it.
People offer big $$$ when they know your game is going to blow up, so if you are getting offers for millions of dollars, remember that your game is likely to earn that over its lifetime!
There are a few times I suggest selling, if they are the right team, and are providing real value. For example, doing live ops, or only buying a small minority % so you can derisk incase the project performs badly.
You can do it yourself and you will learn more in the process. So remember that!

If you want to be a Roblox dev do it. My family said I needed a ārealā job but offered me nothing but fast food and retail as options
After I graduated HS I went 100% into Roblox
Iāve lived on my own for 5 years off nothing but Roblox and I donāt regret it at all
JUST DO IT
