When students get more attention, they perform better. We're hiring 3,700 teachers at 750 @NYCSchools to give every kid the education they deserve. By reducing class sizes, we’re making our public schools the best place for families to send their children! nyc.gov/office-of-the-mayor/…

It is my honor and pleasure to celebrate NYC's dedicated and talented public school teachers, during Teacher Appreciation Week.   Being a teacher is a calling—a calling to lift up our children to a limitless future through a great education.   Thank you for answering that call.
