The Supreme Court decided Callais on April 29th.
Since then, Black political representation has been under direct assault across the South.
And I haven’t heard a mumbling word from @BernieSanders.
I checked both his X accounts — silent.
I checked his Instagram — nothing.
I checked his Senate website — crickets.
At this point I’m starting to get worried. Has anybody checked on Senator Sanders?
Because Black political power is under attack and somehow we can’t seem to run him down.
If y’all know somewhere else to check, let me know so we can get word to him.

While we await the full facts of the investigation, it must be acknowledged that this FBI raid occurs in the broader context of President Trump’s repeated abuse of the Department of Justice to target his perceived political opponents.
It should be noted that this is occurring just two weeks after Senator Lucas helped lead the successful effort by Virginia voters to reject President Trump’s attempt to rig the midterm elections. This raid on Senator Lucas’ office and businesses also comes as President Trump has pressured the Department of Justice to pursue investigations and prosecutions against New York Attorney General Letitia James, former FBI Director James Comey, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, and multiple Democratic Members of Congress.
Like all Americans, Senator Lucas has a right to due process and a presumption of innocence.
This peanut gallery of a society is not ready nor capable to hear from Black men about the tragedy that took place in Virginia. I will hold the Fairfax children and their family in my prayers & commit myself to convening Black men to do the work needed in this moment.

Former VA Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax just murdered his wife, Dr. Cerina Fairfax, before killing himself. Their teenage son had to call 911.
The system ignored the red flags for years. Back in 2019, his political career collapsed after two different women accused him of sexual assault.
The receipts from his marriage are even more chilling. Just this January, he tried to frame Cerina by calling the cops and falsely accusing her of assault. He only failed because she installed hidden cameras that proved he was lying.
A documented abuser who finally lost control. Absolute monster.

In memory of Charlie, I urge every major American university, especially the Ivy League and New England’s small liberal arts colleges, to invite conservative speakers to their campuses and to welcome them. Academia cannot be a no go zone for conservatives. Charlie would welcome this.
It will help heal the country if the liberal left that dominates colleges actively reaches out and peacefully welcomes the right.

Hey @elonmusk , you may be the greatest manufacturing builder of all time. Did you need protective tariffs in order to manufacture in the USA ?
Or were private capital , your investment, and local and federal government incentives the difference ?
