To celebrate her, leave a piece of cloth (Bratóg Bhríde) outside your home to be blessed, or wear white flowers in your hair. Her feast day is shared with Darlughdach, who was her companion, student, successor, and possible lover.

ID: The words “QÉIRE Presents Queer Horror” are written in dark red. In the middle of a cream square is a black outline drawing of a long-haired person scowling with tears streaming from their eyes. Dark red spots are splattered across the image.

The screening is just one week away on 17 October. The film will be live-screened in the theatre in Outhouse, which is unfortunately only accessible by stairs, and will be open from 6:00 PM (GMT). The online screening will occur simultaneously, with the film beginning at 6:15 PM.
From high-camp slasher flicks to homoerotic monster movies, many horror films employ queer subtexts, and find cult followings among queer audiences. And with so many films to choose from, we wanted to let you decide which one to screen!
EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT: After an extended summer break, we are so excited to announce our first ever hybrid (online and in-person) event for Halloween, kindly hosted by @Outhouse_Dublin.
