One of the most spectacular goals I ever saw at Griffin Park. My seat was close to where this camera was, so this is exactly as I remember it!
I really thought 2026 was the year that @SomersetCCC were going to win the County Championship for the first time in the club’s century-and-a-half history. Congratulations to Warks but, flipping bloody heck, how many more times are we going to finish in second place!!?
Congratulations to @WarwickshireCCC on winning the 2026 County Championship 🤝

The #Punk Festival @100clubLondon would make the front page of the Melody Maker, while the detailed review by Caroline Coon tells it how it was (no myths)

RIP Cheetah Chrome, guitarist with The Dead Boys. ‘Sonic Reducer’ – filmed here at CBGBs in NYC in 1977 – is an eternal punk classic. I can still remember flipping out when I heard it for the first time on the ‘New Wave’ compilation on Vertigo Records.

I, Kevin Rowland (the son of Irish immigrants) and the main songwriter of ‘Come On Eileen,’ am disgusted to learn that Nigel Farage has used our song to make his entrance for his party conference. Myself, and all of Dexys are passionately against Farage’s politics.

What is the charge? Having a lunch? A succulent oyster champagne lunch?
Robert Jenrick says Nigel Farage’s “sole involvement” in the donation investigation was to “have lunch.”
“You can't criticise a leader for saying thank you over lunch to someone … being polite is not a crime these days.”
