It's felt more like "when" than "if" for a while regarding a #RacingLou relocation, unfortunately 🫤
In April, Cincinnati lost out on an NWSL expansion franchise. Columbus was awarded the bid.
Five months later, the FC Cincinnati ownership group is reportedly in talks to purchase Racing Louisville and relocate them to the Queen City.

Midseason report card for Racing Louisville. Lots of low grades for a team sitting in 15th place but managed to justify one A (minus)! How does each line measure up? What about coaching and the front office?

More on Neace's comments pertaining to #RacingLou, their finances, and future.
For what its worth, the individual who asked the question didn't interpret his comments to be a threat of relocation, but rather a call to the community.

Could Racing Louisville FC leave the city? What club chairman said courier-journal.com/story/sp…
A bit more context on Nease's thinking regarding #RacingLou and their future and financial positioning.
Racing Louisville is actively seeking new investors as the club attempts to strengthen its financial position and keep pace with the NWSL’s rapid growth.
Though he stressed Racing has no plans to leave Louisville and keeping the club in the city remains the goal, John Neace acknowledged that if additional investment, sponsorship and fan support do not materialize, the club might eventually have to consider alternatives, including moving to another market.

An ominous sign for #RacingLou. With how their season has gone, it's hard to imagine there being a notable increase in attendance.
John Neace had a warning for Louisville soccer fans on Wednesday. It was one they have heard before. Stephen P. Schmidt has the story. bizjournals.com/louisville/n…

John opens with the question of what should Louisville do about its CB problem and who are options out there. While also giving a little explanation as how we got into the situation we’re in. Give it a read.
