Android has a reduce blur setting in the accessibility section.
Oh my fucking god, I was suffering with this blurry ass ui.
I want to do start doing callisthenics again.
The soreness after the workout is just so annoying though, I can't focus or do anything during that period.
Not sure if it gets easier.
My laptop space bar started squeaking. It sure is great that it's attached to the chassis, and there are no instructions to remove the keycap without damaging it.
My favorite tweets are the ones where someone says something, and another person repeats the same thing explaining it.
I just had to stop and think about how we got to this place, and the only thing I could think of is we need to encourage people to read more
Met someone who thinks like this, most obnoxious person on the planet.
"Everything is political" is usually a stand-in for not knowing the definition of politics.
This can unfortunately be extended to people who think economic models are causal.

hate to be that guy but arent all projects inherently political?
for example, when i make an emulator, im implicitly throwing my lot in with a complex movement in favor of software and hardware preservation. if i said it was apolitical i'd be wrong
Can someone recommend some chill game to play (no grind pls or a steep learning curve)?
Thinking of playing wuwa because there is a rin clone
There is never going to be an Arab country that does anything useful, the culture and attitude towards education is backwards.

Anything that makes the state space smaller to reason about, is imo better, even if it slows things down.
Memory barriers (off they go!)
I get the need for performance, but would be nice to have the default path be the correct and safe one, then have an escape hatch.

presenting multiple things that don't behave in a uniform way through a uniform interface is the whole point, that's the point of basically every abstraction like a driver or anything really.
This is actually based, you should not use C/C++/rust for things you can write in another language if you can take the performance penalty.
C++/C are also very much not how computers work!
Google researcher @lauriewired warns the shift from C++ to Python in universities is creating programmers who don't understand how computers actually work:
"When I was in college getting my CS degree, my year was one of the last years that was using C++ as the core language for teaching students. Actually they were switching over to Python of all languages."
"One of the biggest issues that I have is that a lot of these higher level languages are really abstracting away what is happening under the hood. If you're not aware of how the computers work in general, then you're gonna have problems when it comes to debugging."
"Starting with a language like C++ gives you the ability to do these really high level abstractions, but it also gives you the ability to customize your memory management and get really close to the underlying machine. Especially if you're trying to work in high performance computing, game development, or high frequency trading."
"At C++ conferences, there's almost this fundamental anger response when it comes to mentioning something like C or C++. People start complaining about the complexity of it."
@Google
It is partly because it's a garbage language, that the semantics for it is annoying to reason about. If you ever have to worry about sequencing points, how a memory barrier is placed, or some other detail that is part of the language itself, then the language is bad imo.
