Recently, RCAC’s Anvil supercomputer supported the 2026 NSF CyberTraining Quantum Computing for Materials Science and Chemistry (QC4MC) Summer School for the second year in a row. Held this year at @ASU, RCAC's David Liu was an instructor. Great work to everyone who attended!

Recently, @UCIrvine used Purdue’s Anvil supercomputer to host the BigCARE workshop. Attendees received guidance and training on HPC in the weeks before the workshop, then spent a week on-site at UCI learning how to optimize research computing workflows for cancer research.

The Purdue Envision Center welcomed colleagues from @NotreDame for a visit focused on extended reality, advanced visualization, and immersive technology. During the visit, our guests spent hands-on time using CollabXR, our platform for collaborative immersive environments.
Congratulations to George Takahashi & Jake White, from the Envision Center for winning the Best Visualization award at PEARC26! Their submission,“CollabXR: immersive spatial communication of 3D materials,” highlighted the innovative ways in which the CollabXR can be used.
