16/ KV: What led you to build @LightyearBuild?
M: @LightyearBuild is building on a simple observation: unique assets - whether digital art, collectibles, or tokenized real-world items - don’t have the pricing infrastructure that fungible markets take for granted. If you’re trading ETH, there are a hundred places to get a reliable price. If you’re trading a Punk or a tokenized graded card, you’re mostly guessing. This will be even more important in the coming years as activity shifts further towards the agentic economy.
We’re building that missing layer, starting with digital assets because the data is on-chain, permissionless and we have a lot of proprietary data to apply on top. Punks Terminal is our first product, built on top of existing CryptoPunks infrastructure, with an API for agents coming next. The same engine that prices an NFT can price any asset.

Next @ArtBasel and HK Tourism Board premiered in grand style newly commissioned artwork by @deekaymotion - now projected over the Hong Kong Club Building
Finally the @hofagallery digital art awards ceremony and exhibition @phillipsauction supported by @HivemindCap x @LightyearBuild

In our nascent industry, the ease of entering and exiting a collection - through tight bid-ask spreads and deep order books - is one of the strongest determinants of collection price
When there’s little visible intent on-chain through bids, people assume there’s no demand. That perception quickly turns into a sentiment spiral
In reality, there’s an opportunity cost to parking WETH, especially when battling bots. Sellers end up chasing down to meet what looks like thin liquidity, even though the actual clearing price collectors are willing to pay is often higher
