"The first to break down were those who believed that it would all end soon. Next to break down were those who did not believe that it would ever end. Those who survived were those who focused on their own affairs, without expectations of what might happen next."
I’m reading an old quote, and it speaks directly to us, to how we live here, in Ukraine. Over the years of war, many have broken down because their minds are dead set on the past: on how things were "before." Now, those who remain in Ukraine have learned the main lesson: the war won't ask if we are tired or not. We try not to think about what will happen a year from now, because it drives you mad. The life of ordinary people in Ukraine is mostly survival, not heroism. True heroism is at the front, where bullets whistle, shells explode, and drones buzz, hunting for living people.
We cannot control the rockets and drones. We cannot control the politicians. But we are capable of controlling ourselves. That is how we hold on ✊🇺🇦.

Zelensky: We are facing one of the most dangerous periods in Ukrainian history, a choice between losing our dignity and freedom and losing US support. We choose dignity. My answer is my oath of office. I did not betray Ukraine in Feb 2022 and we won’t betray in now.
