Richard Heart (Richard James Schueler), an American citizen and founder of HEX, PulseChain, and PulseX, was detained in Istanbul on an Interpol red notice requested solely by Finland. The notice is for alleged tax matters in Finland - not a U.S. criminal charge.
The U.S. SEC’s civil case against him (claiming unregistered offerings) was dismissed in 2025 for lack of jurisdiction.
There is no U.S. indictment.
As an American, he deserves due process and protection from being held on a foreign tax allegation that has been misrepresented in Turkish statements as “$1 billion U.S./Finland crypto fraud.”
Please look into his situation and ensure a U.S. citizen is not left stranded abroad on an inaccurate Interpol request.

🇹🇷 JUST IN: Turkey officially confirms HEX founder Richard Heart's detention, with $7.15 MILLION in cash seized.
Authorities also seized six cold wallets, seven guns and 1,400 rounds of ammunition, Justice Minister Akın Gürlek said.
The haul included 28 watches, 300 bags and 19 graphics cards.
Heart, who faces an Interpol Red Notice issued for Finland over suspected tax evasion and assault, was detained in Istanbul on Oct 14.
$HEX was down about 14% over 24 hours on Saturday, per CoinGecko.

Turkish authorities have revealed the scale of their operation against HEX founder Richard Heart, confirming the seizure of $7.15 million in cash and six hardware wallets following raids on 15 properties across Istanbul.
Authorities also confiscated:
- 300 designer handbags
- 28 luxury watches
- 97 pieces of jewelry
- 29 mobile phones
- 46 USB drives
- 19 graphics cards
- Multiple firearms and ammunition
Five people were reportedly arrested, including three bodyguards.
Heart remains under investigation over alleged financial crimes, with no confirmed extradition decision or disclosure of how much cryptocurrency, if any, was recovered from the seized wallets.
