Are these gifted kids trying to make me emotional or what?! A green apple, a Distinguished Service nomination, and the sweetest book of handwritten notes- all in one week from their families. I’m going to miss this 5th grade crew so much 💙 #pufferproud

Congratulations to Mr. Leipart and Ms. Honn of Henry Puffer School on earning a Green Apple Award from the Education Foundation of @DGDistrict58. We are grateful for their hard work and dedication! #dg58pride
After finishing The Land of Stories, this reading group created cards featuring all the fairy tale heroes! Then we battled it out with a game using text evidence to prove who was more powerful, physically AND intellectually! 📚✨ #dg58pride
Had the loveliest afternoon with these two third graders who won this year’s teacher experience with me! Books + ice cream = the perfect combo 🩷📚🍦 #pufferproud

Teachers and staff came together to enjoy America’s favorite pastime, baseball! ⚾️ With just a few weeks left in the school year, it was the perfect opportunity to celebrate teamwork, friendship, and all the hard work that has made this year so special. It also gave us a chance to begin honoring our wonderful principal, @HenryPufferDG58, whose leadership and dedication have meant so much to our school community. A huge shoutout to @whitesox for the special shoutout and an exciting win! 🙌⚾️ #dg58pride #pufferpride #teachers #baseball #chicago
