Just a statement of fact - I live on The Wirral and last week drove 173 miles almost, motorway free, across Wales (train strike day) to Cardiff to celebrate -10yrs since the Active Travel act came into being.
I drove approximately 1 miles in a 20mph zone.
Perhaps @RishiSunak needs to look to economists rather than listening to the blinkered readers of the #DailyFail @DailyMailUK
Cycling traffic across England is up 7.4% on pre-pandemic levels.
Not only does active travel like cycling and walking promote healthy travel but helps grow the economy through increased high street spending and better access to jobs.
