Nobody owes you a job just because you spent 10 years learning something a machine can now do in 10 seconds.
That’s not an argument against AI.
That’s an argument for making sure people can live comfortably without having to work.
Stop confusing your career with the future of humanity.

This really brought home to me
this new machine creativity.
I don’t know the recipe, but it’s more than vibes I see.
There’s substance in the lyrics and there’s nuance for the critics
And a story being told in this AI homily.
And a message being sold by the Ai homily.

Six years ago Bernie told us that we had six years left because of climate change.
That grift is over and now he’s onto the robots.
Mock this miserable goon into oblivion.

Breaking: Michael Burry says OpenAI and Anthropic are faking the AI warnings due to slow growth ahead of IPOs
Below are his reasonings:
1. LLMs are not AI and won't be AGI. There is nothing AI to slow down.
2. Competition is coming up fast, slowing benefits incumbents.
3. IPOs need hype & puffery; "we are so awesome it could become dangerous" is hype & puffery
4. Cover for real uncontrollable slowing growth as IPOs look to be pushed out

Singapore's Prime Minister will earn S$3.6M a year from October 15th. That's about $2.84M, equal to a 64% raise.
Before someone feels outraged by that, let me remind that this was Lee Kuan Yew's recipe to avoid corruption. The logic was simple. If you pay ministers at market rate, nobody needs to buy them.
Personally, I've never understood why, to be an accountant reviewing and filing accounts with the State, you need a degree, exams passed, continuous education etc. To run the State itself: nothing.
Doesn't make too much sense, no?
Not to sound like a broken record, but Singapore's model is extremely reasonable: 35% of ministerial pay is variable. The National Bonus, as it's called, is set by four indicators: real median income growth, real income growth of the bottom 20%, unemployment, and real GDP growth.
So their pay is tied to how the country actually performs. Not to how well they campaign.
My opinion, I think most men fall into 2 categories, those of us who never were celebrated properly and find the day to make us uncomfortable and accepted the fact that men don't celebrate this triviality. The second camp is those who were never celebrated properly and will beg the world for the attention they think they deserve. Carry on Kings ..

This is why the supporters of @elonmusk work hard to "defend him."
Because it's not about Elon.
He's a symbol of progress.

🚨 JUST IN: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is being praised nationwide for dropping this TRUTH on leftism and "progressivism"
"Progressivism seeks to replace the basic premises of the Declaration of Independence, and hence our form of government. It holds that our rights and our dignities come not from God, but from government."
"It requires of the people a subservience and weakness incompatible with a constitution premised on the transcendent origin of our rights."
You NAILED IT, Justice Thomas! 🇺🇸
This guy is the true GOAT.
