For a brief moment, nothing happened. Then suddenly, Daichi coughed. Once, twice — before a dark stream of blood spilled from his mouth. His body collapsed limply, consciousness slipping away in an instant.

His voice softened as he turned his head slightly. “As for the final murder…” He reached out, gently placing his palm on @ClientSeba head, stroking it with an almost tender care. “Goodbye, my brother.”  Seiji whispered. “Your task is complete. You’re free now.”

“From that moment on, she began to threaten more frequently. If I refused, she said she would kill Jane. AND SHE LAUGHED after saying all that.”

“Then one day, father brought her to meet Jane. Jane wrote me a letter, saying she was happy to have an older sister, because Mizuki brought her a sweet hairpin. But when they returned, Mizuki said something like —

“From her own mouth, of course! She threatened to kill me, yet always acted sweet in front of father. It disgusted me. Mother would cook meals for her, while I, since childhood, had never even tasted my own mother’s cooking.”

“Long before that, our relationship was already ruined. She came from an orphanage and was brought into our family as a killer. Even her biological parents abandoned her there because she had murdered her own siblings.”

“I can admit that. My first killing was when I was nearly approaching 14.. I killed my own father. Then, I burned my own house sooo.. count that I killed my Grandmother and our household madam, Amane-san. Third, at the age of 27, I killed Mizuki. As for my fourth—”

Seiji gaze sharpened. “DO NOT EVER REFER TO HER AS MY SIBLING. I will never acknowledge her as such.”
