#1 HoyoWatchGuard || Roy Alphard Arc

So the latest wave of anti-Hoyo narratives is basically: "Hoyo is losing money, so now they're investing in AI." The strategy is pretty straightforward: cherry-pick statistics, present them without context, and fill the replies with people agreeing to make the argument seem more legitimate. But pay attention to the patches they use as "proof" that Genshin used to make more money. They conveniently ignore basic factors like banner schedules (not every month has two new characters) and seasonal revenue cycles (not every patch features an Archon release). By selectively comparing high-revenue patches against weaker ones, you can manufacture just about any downward trend you want.
