The EU DPP Registry went live on 20 July 2026. But what is it, and what does your business need to know? The EU DPP Registry is the European Commission's central repository for Digital Product Passports, holding the unique identifiers and secure links that prove each passport exists, is authentic, and is valid for the EU market. Economic Operators remain responsible for the underlying data included in the DPPs, and a mandatory backup via an independent third-party provider.
