so lets get this straight, they ran this giant feedback form for weeks, came back with a 95% "yes we want labels to mark if something was made with ai" result, and said "nah we aint doin that". incredible leadership from the people on the vrchat team

I'm pretty sure they have something not letting them take an actual stance against AI usage. Anyway they're using a LOT of numbers and putting them in a context where they try to make it look like its not a lot of people against it, or that people cant agree.

In the end, they're more worried about the reaction people will have towards those who choose to use AI than limiting it on their platform or discouraging AI use in the first place. They don't want a solution to the ai problem they want people to not be mad when it does appear.
