Merry Christmas to you as well. I appreciate the things you’ve done for me too and I suppose even though it’s quite the eyesore right now I’ll leave your sign alone until the new year begins.

It’s not better at all John. He overreacts to how you are and he just needs to move on. Anyways. I’m improving the sign. I mean I could take it down. But no. I /decorate/ it.

As your older brother it’s my job and I take it very seriously.

If she did want to switch back, Jacob was nothing if not a gentleman. He would give her his shirt. He sighs contently moving his hand back up to scratch gently behind her soft ears. He wasn’t sure if she liked it but he would assume she wouldn’t be so calm if she didn’t.

But it also has its Pros... like being able to communicate back with Jacob. For now though he was quite content with the silence. His hands still gently running through the wolf’s soft fur affectionately. He never interacted like this with anything else. Just her.

A small chuckle slips through his lips as he keeps petting the wolf. It was odd really, never had he expressed any desire to pet any of the judges he had but This wolf.. This person.. was so intriguing. He wanted to pet her, learn more about her. He was just so.. interested.

It took him a moment to process what she was doing before he finally reaches out and gently scratches behind the Alpha’s ears. “Well... Thank you for not attacking me.” He says softly as he continues to run his fingers gently through her thick but soft fur.

He continues to watch her cautiously and he places some trust in her as she lays down, taking a moment to kneel down on the ground in front of her. He was calm despite how absolutely vulnerable he was in this current situation. “Been awhile since I came to the woods..”

“Wasn’t expecting to run into you Wolfy.. Nice to see you though.” He says before taking a seat on a fallen log. He holds a hand out slightly, almost wanting to pet the giant wolf but he keeps himself from actually doing that. If he’s to do anything clearly it’ll be on her terms.

He raises his hands slightly showing that while he was of course armed neither of his guns were currently in his hands. He watches her cautiously. Not making any sudden moves. He was just out enjoying one of his woodland walks, though he was out quite a bit further than usual.

“Woah there Wolfy..”

“That I’ll take your word for..” He responds with a chuckle as he continues to watch the other. He really was proud to see the changes in Staci. This was quite the improvement compared to how he first showed up in Jacobs care.
