I have a client in the medical field who just asked me to build an intake form for their patients. I'm not super familiar with HIPPA and most of the questions don't appear to include privileged info... except they want the SS num. How best to handle?
Corrections: That's HIPAA, not HIPPA. Just shows how familiar I am with it! And reviewing the specs they're actually looking for the date of birth. Not as dangerous as SS number, but still probably doesn't conform to HIPAA regs.
