Happy Easter from the Heart of the Countryside!
As we enjoy the beauty of spring—blossoming trees, buzzing bees, and peaceful walks through the fields—let’s remember how precious our green spaces truly are. 1/2

🌟SAVE RURAL PETERBOROUGH🌟
Been to the site #Peterborough Council want to build 1,800 houses (plus 1,200 in another phase) north of #Castor & #Ailsworth😢
It’s beautiful. If I am Mayor - the site will not feature in my
plan. I shall push to take it out of the Council plan 💙
This is a much more appealing approach from @HomesEngland - driving regeneration and investment to build homes rather than destroying John Clare countryside outside Peterborough

Residents will soon be able to have their say on the Draft Local Plan when the public consultation commences on 11 April.

🗓️8 May | Queensgate Shopping Centre (outside O2) | 5pm-7pm
🗓️10 May | Peterborough Museum | 10am-4pm

We believe there were flaws in the process of approving a new Draft Local Plan for the city peterboroughtoday.co.uk/news…
The Joint Scrutiny Committee has recommended the site be removed from the Local Plan. Here’s why…
Proximity to Castor Hanglands SSSI.
Damage to the environment would be too great to mitigate (Cambridgeshire Wildlife Trust)
PLUS infrastructure will cost £100M in tax payments
