@_RobbieMoore we need #Evusheld not a meaningless memorial stone in the park when it’s too late.
Please speak up and get @SteveBarclay to buy this life saving drug. It is still ‘during’ the pandemic! And we are not supported!
Please watch Lord Mendelsohn’s speech from #EvusheldVigil & Contact your MP: “The government have gone wrong…we must impress upon the MPs to take responsibility and do their job…never forget the #forgotten500k "😊

The 5 app is just appalling! It freezes, cuts out, makes watching programmes on it a totally miserable frustration! Come on, whoever is responsible, get it sorted!!!

🚨 Covid bereaved families call for Matt Hancock to be removed from Privy Council
@CovidJusticeUK said Hancock’s removal would be an “important symbolic first step” towards accountability. Removal would strip Hancock of the title “Right Honourable”

Had mRNA Covid jab Tues, last night high heart rate and arrhythmia warnings on monitor - told GP shouldn’t have it as heart condition but immunosuppressed and no Bimervax available. Where is the mRNA alternative @UKHSA @YvetteCooperMP @cv_cev @pippaheylings @NHSEngland

Since quite a few red cartel fans were having trouble reading the original spreadsheet, I decided to redo it in color so they could understand it a bit better. There are more names to add to the list but this gives a fairly obvious look at the media bias vs CITY.

And when certain high-profile individuals tried to argue that surgical masks would be sufficient and offered a similar level of protection to FFP3 masks, Baroness Hallett was incredulous in her response…

All feels a bit irresponsible this. Literally every media outlet stoking the fires and barely any call for level heads. You'd think some of these ex pros would be reminded people that the players and fans are not responsible.

Why is the NHS vaccinating only against flu, but not against Covid, which is more severe and linked to multiple long-term health impairments?
Why not give NHS Covid vaccines to healthcare workers, those with chronic respiratory illnesses and other vulnerable groups, at minumum?
Replying to @AnnaLouiseMR @AneurinBevanUHB
To be fair, it’s v tricky for @AneurinBevanUHB to articulate these eligibility rules because they don’t make any sense!
On almost every measure, the acute & long-term impacts of COVID are substantially WORSE than for flu, so why is access to a COVID vax so much more restricted?!

Haters on this chat have missed the bigger point. The charges are NOT criminal charges! They are rules from a self governed organisation that imposes restrictions on business owners investing in their own businesses, for the benefit of a handful of clubs! FFP IS THE PROBLEM

I'm 64. I'm (obviously) not retired yet.
When I was at school, I was told I would be able to retire at 60. Then there was a court case that said that women and men should not be discriminated against, and should have the same retirement age.
The French (bless them) decided to bring the men's retirement age down to 60, in line with women's. In the UK they decided to put the women's retirement age up.
The reason we had an earlier retirement age was because it was recognised that women carry/carried the burden of homemaking and child-rearing on top of working. But hey ho. That is that.
I am what I recently discovered is called "Generation Jones" - a year or two short of Gen X, but definitely not "Boomer" either. I started work in 1979. In the 70s and 80s my basic income tax rate started at 33%, then went down to 30%, and by the time I moved to France in 87, was 27%. The 20% rate didn't come in til 2010.
All of you saying the Triple Lock should be smashed fail to take into account that we paid higher rates of income tax for many years. The majority of us most probably started working younger than the majority start now - far fewer of us went to Uni and worked from 16 or 18 (in my case, 17) "Gap year" was something out of Brideshead Revisited.
The UK has one of the lowests rate of state pension in the OECD countries. And you want to lower it even further by playing one generation off against another, while you STILL have endless money for bombs and wars in far off lands?
Get to fuck.
The majority of so called Boomers started work at 15/16, far fewer went to University. Listening to @real_Sir_Alex this morning might give an idea of how families lived in post war UK and how hard Boomers had to work to ‘better’ themselves and give opportunities to their children

The hate, racist abuse and threats that I and many other Manchester City fans have received over the last few days simply for supporting the club we love are sickening.
Fans have no control over decisions made by owners or executives. We fell in love with a club, with the players, with the game and with the community. We haven’t done anything wrong by supporting our club. And we are not running away.
Nobody should have to live in fear because of the badge they wear. Rivalry should never cost us our humanity. Rival fans need to do better than targeting City fans with unnecessary hate.
City fans, stay safe and don’t be afraid to show your colours. We stand together. 🩵

I want to raise this again. The UK Covid Inquiry found no reason to prevent patients from wearing their own masks in healthcare. Print it out, laminate it if needed. You may wear your own masks.
